Travel Day: Long Layovers in ORD

Andrew and I had a flashback to 2019 when we were in ORD for an inordinately long time. Luckily today we have a couple United Lounge passes so we can spend the time relaxing in the lounge. I'm working on getting this blog up and together to more easily document our travel as we do it - because once we get home, I always fall behind with sharing photos and remembering things! And We're Off!

Today we leave for two weeks in New Zealand. It has been over fifteen years since I’ve been there, and I’m excited and nervous.  My time there was formative in both good and bad ways. It’s where my depression and anxiety really spiraled out of control, and rather than face it head on, I allowed it to derail me. I was too scared to ask for help.  I’m so different now. I’m excited to see it again through an older and wiser perspective and also to check off some bucket list things I didn’t get the chance to conquer the last time I was there.
